As a National High-tech Enterprise, Timemaker was qualified as the Enterprise Technology Center of Chengdu City in2015, qualified as the Enterprise Technology Center of Sichuan Province in 2017, and named in the Top 100 Enterprises  with technical innovation and development capability in Sichuan Province.

The company owns 11national invention patents, 7 national utility model patents. Besides, 9 patents are also under application. The investment of R&D accounts for 8% of business revenue every year, in order to strengthen the advantage of the leading technology.

1) R&D team

There are 42 members in the R&D Team, and nearly 10 of them have the master's degree or above.

2) r&d equipment

 The research and development equipment includes optical profiler, flatness tester, double-sided lithography machine and auxiliary equipment, automatic magnetron sputtering film plating machine, high-precision grinding and polishing machine, hard and brittle material multi-wire cutting machine, high-precision crystal material Angle measuring machine and so on. There are also a variety of special instruments and equipment independently developed.

3) external cooperation

The technical center of the company is keeping communication and cooperation with colleges.

A"Laboratory of production, research and research' and a "Sensor laboratory' are established with the Southwest Jiaotong University, and cooperate of the theoretical research in the field of piezoelectric quartz crystal with Ningbo University is conducted. Besides, cooperate of new product development with University of Electronic Science and Technology and Zhejiang University are also be conducted.
